Weatherization

Helping People. Changing Lives.

Weatherization assistance makes qualifying homes more energy efficient.

Program Description

The weatherization program is a free program designed to help eligible families make their homes safer and more energy efficient. Measures can include attic, wall, and floor insulation, sealing around windows and ducts, weather-stripping, carbon monoxide testing, and heating system tune-ups, among others.

Weatherization services do not include roof replacement, siding repairs, mold or asbestos abatement, plumbing, major electrical work, or interior furnishings.

NCAP provides weatherization services to the Nebraska Panhandle and Cherry County. Priority is given to persons over 60, persons with disabilities, and families with children under six.
