Assistant Teacher - Alliance 

Full-time, Part-year, 40 hours a week – below .75% FTE

$1,500 Hiring Incentive Available!

Responsibilities:

• Assisting Head Teacher in writing lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate.
• Conducting class observations, meeting with families and setting individual goals for each child.
• This is a very engaging and hands on position that will have regular interaction with children ages 3-5.
• The goal of our classrooms is to prepare children for kindergarten through education, social interactions and hands-on play.

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Enrolled in or completed CDA, or enrolled in or completed an associates or bachelor's degree required.
• Two (2) years previous paid or volunteer experience with preschool children in a classroom setting preferred. 
• Must pass criminal background checks.
• First Aid and CPR certifications a plus! If you do not have First Aide and CPR certifications, we will help you obtain them within 30 days of hire. 

Pay and Benefits:

Wage: 

$15.10 - $15.61 an hour depending upon qualifications and experience.
