Position: Classroom Aide - Gordon

Part Time, Part Year: 33 Hours per week - below .75 FTE

Responsibilities: 

• Assisting teachers with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Providing individualized attention and support to children in the classroom.
• Promoting positive social and emotional development among students.
• Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Collaborating with teachers and families to meet the unique needs of each child.

Qualifications:  

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children, preferably in an early childhood education setting.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.

Pay and Benefits: Starting wage is $13 – $15 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Generous sick, vacation, bereavement and holiday pay available.
