Family and Community Partnership Coordinator - Chadron

Full-time- Full-year, 40 hours a week – above .75% FTE

  Responsibilities: The Family and Community Partnership Coordinator facilitates family services for the NCAP Head Start/Early Head Start.  The coordinator supports Head Start/Early Staff in developing and implementing family goals while focusing on program mandates. Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations and serve as Policy Council coordinator. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Communications, Child Development, or related field
• Must be able to pass background checks
• Valid driver's license and Insurable
• Strong computer experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
• Ability to maintain confidential information

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience working or volunteering in Head Start or another early childhood development program
• Experience, knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with at-risk populations
• Knowledge of school and community resources
• Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards

Pay and Benefits: Starting wage is $45,000 - $55,000 annually depending upon education and experience. Generous sick, vacation and holiday pay available. Health, Dental and Vision Insurance along with matching retirement plans available.
