Responsibilities: The Family and Community Partnership Coordinator facilitates family services for the NCAP Head Start/Early Head Start. The coordinator supports Head Start/Early Staff in developing and implementing family goals while focusing on program mandates. Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations and serve as Policy Council coordinator.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Communications, Child Development, or related field
- Must be able to pass background checks
- Valid driver's license and Insurable
- Strong computer experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
- Ability to maintain confidential information
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering in Head Start or another early childhood development program
- Experience, knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with at-risk populations
- Knowledge of school and community resources
- Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards
Pay and Benefits: Starting wage is $45,000 - $55,000 annually depending upon education and experience. Generous sick, vacation and holiday pay available. Health, Dental and Vision Insurance along with matching retirement plans available.
