Position: Human Resources Director

Full Time, Exempt

$1,500 Hiring Incentive Available! 

Responsibilities: The Human Resources Director is a member of our top leadership team and will engage with fellow leaders to problem solve, build strong teams, mentor, and create effective practices throughout the agency. Additionally the HR Director will be responsible for the following: 

Employee Management: Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new staff. Manage performance, promotions and exit processes. 

Policy Creation: Develop and implement HR policies and activities.

Compliance: Ensure that the organization complies with HR laws and regulations. 

Communication: Facilitate clear communication among staff, across departments and within the leadership team. 

Employee Well-Being: Promote a healthy and safe work environment. Facilitate work comp claims and train staff on work place injury prevention. 

Performance Evaluation: Implement and monitor agency wide systems for performance evaluations and improvement. 

Labor Relations: Mange the balance between the agency and its workforce. Review bi-weekly payroll for accuracy. Lead all wage study and pay parity studies and efforts. 

Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to supervisory staff as they manage their teams as well as to the employees for their professional development.  

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business/Business Management/Human Resources or related field required. At least 2 years of Human Resources experience preferred. Strong organization and communication skills a must! Experience in the development and implementation of policies and procedures preferred. Experience in mediating employee conflicts a plus! Must be self motivated and willing to learn. Must be able to pass background checks. Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable. 

Pay and Benefits: 

Annual Salary:

$59,000 to $60,000 depending upon qualification and experience.
