Stuff the Bus Food and Diaper Drive

Northwest Community Action Partnership, NCAP, is hosting a Stuff the Bus Food and Diaper Drive to benefit our Food Pantries and Diaper Banks from April 3rd to April 7th in Chadron and Alliance. NCAP works to fight poverty in a five county region (Box Butte, Cherry, Dawes, Sheridan and Sioux) through programs such as Head Start, Early Head Start, Community Services, Volunteer Services, Weatherization and the Diaper Bank. NCAP’s Community Services program operates the Extra Helpings Food Pantries in Chadron, Alliance, Rushville and Valentine and NCAP’s Diaper Bank program serves Box Butte, Dawes, Sheridan and Sioux Counties.

Hundreds of families receive food and diaper distributions through our agency each and every month. Food security and access to clean, dry diapers are critical elements to the safety and well-being of the children and families we serve.

Buses will be parked at two locations from April 3rd to April 7th . In Chadron, our bus will be parked at NCAP’s Central Office located at 270 Pine Street and in Alliance you will see our bus parked at the Head Start Campus located at 1028 E. 3 rd Street. The buses will be open and available for donation drop offs from 8am to 5pm daily. Our current greatest needs are Pull Ups (any size/gender) and Diapers in sizes 4, 5, 6, &7. Breakfast items (such as coffee, juice, cereal, and pancake mix), flour, sugar, vegetable oil, soup and canned fruit.
