Federal Poverty Guidelines

The United State Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) sets the income eligibility guidelines each year.  Most of the programs that NCAP offers have income eligibility that is based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines.  These funding sources are available to low-income residents in NCAP's service area including:

  • Educating pre-school children
  • Providing parenting supports
  • Helping seniors maintain stable, independent residences
  • Providing residential home measures to improve energy efficiency
  • Providing service navigation services to connect families to area resources
