Position: Home Visitor - Box Butte County

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Visitor to conduct weekly home visits for pregnant mothers and children up to age 5. This role involves providing guidance, support, and resources to promote healthy prenatal care, early childhood development, and overall family well-being. The Home Visitor will spend approximately an hour and a half per visit, offering personalized support and educational materials to empower families.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct weekly home visits to pregnant mothers and families with children up to age 5.
• Provide guidance on prenatal care, child development, nutrition, and parenting skills.
• Offer support in accessing community resources, including healthcare services and early childhood education programs.
• Develop individualized plans to address the specific needs of each family.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of each visit.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for families.

Qualifications:

• Have a minimum of a home-based CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate's or bachelor's degree
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to establish positive relationships with diverse families and communities
• Must pass a background check. Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable. Must be at least 21 years of age. 

Pay and Benefits: Starting wage is $15.00 - $17.00 an hour depending upon qualifications and experience. Generous sick, vacation and holiday pay along with  Health, Dental, Vision Insurance and matching retirement plans.
