Full-time, Part-year, 40 hours a week – below .75% FTE
Anticipated Start Date: August 2024
Responsibilities: Assisting Head Teacher in writing lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate, class observations, meeting with families and setting individual goals for each child. This is a very engaging and hands on position that will have regular interaction with children ages 3-5. The goal of our classrooms is to prepare children for kindergarten through education, social interactions and hands-on play. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Enrolled in or completed CDA, or enrolled in or completed an associates or bachelor's degree required. Two (2) years previous paid or volunteer experience with preschool children in a classroom setting preferred. Must pass criminal background checks. First Aid and CPR certifications a plus! If you do not have these certifications, we will help you obtain them within 30 days of hire.
Pay and Benefits: Starting wage is $14.75 - $15.25 an hour depending upon qualifications and experience. Generous sick, vacation and holiday pay available! Health, Dental and Vision Insurance along with matching retirement plans available! Nights and weekends off! Summers off!
